2024 Legacy Society Breakfast
The torch of tradition burns brightly at Bishop England High School as we celebrate the passing of the educational torch from one generation to the next. This year, 31 exceptional students were recognized at our annual Legacy Breakfast, proudly sharing this time-honored tradition with either a parent or grandparent who also walked the halls of BEHS.
The Bishop England, High School Legacy Society, is a testament to families with a multi-generational commitment to Catholic education and BE pride. To become a part of this honorable society, graduating seniors must have a parent or grandparent who graduated from our BE. As a symbol of this tradition, members of the Legacy Society will proudly wear pins on their graduation robes during the Commencement Ceremony.
During the breakfast, President Finneran reminded our new Legacy Society members that a Bishop England High School education is a gift that transcends time, that equipped their parents and/or grandparents with the intellectual fortitude to excel and the spiritual and moral compass to navigate life’s various challenges. They are now part of this legacy of living the Gospel and sharing their gifts and knowledge. Congratulations to all these students and their families who continue to uphold this legacy of excellence and dedication to Catholic education.
